Marketing Communications Intern

Summary:
The Marketing Communications Intern will assist in crafting global brand stories to support Chem-Trend’s value proposition across the core industry segments. The position will offer candidates corporate marketing communications experience within the B2B process chemical specialties space with a focus on the execution of global content plans, predominately copywriting, that utilize a variety of digital communication platforms including Vimeo, YouTube, LinkedIn, SharePoint (intranet), Microsoft Teams and WordPress. Interaction and communication across company departments/teams and with external agency partners is essential to this role and highly encouraged for successful completion of project tasks. The candidate may also gain experience within the marketing field through involvement in other miscellaneous projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
·     High School Diploma or equivalent.
·     Three years of college coursework completed in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
·     Experience with social media and video platforms including LinkedIn, Vimeo, and YouTube required.
·     Completed coursework in creative writing, journalism, business communication, integrated marketing campaigns or public relations planning, a plus.
·     Previous work experience, preferred.
·     Knowledge of website development, video creation tools and other interactive advertising platforms, a plus.
·     Process improvement, process analysis, or project management experience, a plus.
·     Commitment to safety and quality.
·     Must be able to work remotely.


This is a temporary, remote, summer internship with no benefits. Authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Relocation assistance is not available. Chem-Trend is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
