Homeless Services Multi-Site Coordinator

Position Title: Homeless Services Multi-Site Coordinator
Hours: Full-time 
Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000

Position Summary: 

The Homeless Services Multi-Site Coordinator serves as the point of contact for coordination of the COVID Emergency Rental Assistance (CERA) grant, and supports Community enCompass, as well as our partner agency, in administering the grant. This role serves as the subject matter expert in supporting staff members as they work with neighbors, landlords, property owners, and property management companies to facilitate the CERA application processes. They are the main coordinator between Community enCompass and our partner agency. This role ensures both agencies maintain a culture of hospitality and professionalism, as well as an organized experience for those we serve.

Qualifications: 

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university in social work, human services, community development, business, psychology or related field and/or prior experience working in similar programming or case management. Experience with HUD and/or MHSDA programming a plus.

  • Sensitivity, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude towards those requiring assistance
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite. Ability to learn new programs quickly.
  • Proven ability to provide leadership, cultivate organizational culture, and effectively coordinate a team
  • Ability to learn and comply with regulatory program rules and expectations
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, manage multiple tasks and information, and quickly identify solutions to problems

Primary Responsibilities:

Leadership: 
  • Participate in creating and maintaining a workplace that values diversity and is free of racism, sexism, heterosexism, and other discriminatory practices
  • Maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct and practice in day to day interaction with clients, agency partners, landlords, and the broader community

Staff Management/Development:
  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and HR support to CERA staff 
  • Oversee training of new employees 
  • Effectively lead a team to meet program and organizational goals including but not limited to ensuring accuracy of financial records, client files, and effective utilization of HMIS 
  • Identify staff development needs and areas for professional growth working closely with the team to bring in training opportunities and lead internal and external training and in-service sessions as appropriate

Day-to-Day Program Management
  • Review and oversee implementation of program policies and procedures. 
  • Build high-quality relationships with partner agencies and ensure they are meeting program expectations 
  • Adhere to professional standards of confidentiality at all times; protects the rights of clients and limits discussion regarding clients, staff, and organizational business to appropriate channels
  • Be a point of coordination for all critical and emergency situations.
  • Support and carry out the mission of the agency. Participate in the ongoing work of the agency; demonstrate team leadership, and a workplace philosophy that enriches staff’s ability to reach goals and provide a high level of customer service.
  • Follow agency policies, including personnel, and programmatic.

Quality Control/Compliance Management:
  • Assure accurate record keeping and required documentation are maintained per funding regulations
  • Audit program files and internal processes to ensure quality of housing service provision per regulations
  • Prepare and submit reports as required ensuring data is accurate and submitted on time
  • Stay current with knowledge of and changes in program policies and procedures

Administrative:
  • Track and provide financial information and support documentation needed to submit Financial Status Reports 
  • Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment/supplies procurement.
  • Maintain openness to supervision through periodic meetings and consultation with immediate supervisor
