The Career Team helps Brandeisians discover who they are, what they want, and how to get there. Students and alumni explore career hubs, resources around industries, and affinities, with members of the career team to find individualized career support. Appointments
Meet with us for 30 or 60 minutes on topics ranging from exploring majors and career interests, reviewing application materials, internship and job searching, networking, interviewing, and graduate school or law school planning/applications. If you are working with Hiatt for the first time, set up a 30-minute appointment or call our front desk to find the best person to help you get started.
Event Support
Hiatt helps student groups with professional development, networking, and skill-building activities. Connect with our staff for event brainstorming and support through a Club Support appointment in Handshake. If you have a specific date and event in mind, fill out the request form with event details. Please provide at least two weeks' notice before the event date.
Dan believes college can be anything you want it to be. Dan’s door is always open to hear about your successes, help talk through an obstacle, or get your take on a recent movie or game.
Lauren enjoys working with students to strengthen skills and empower them to move forward. Part of Lauren’s enthusiasm stems from her shared experience as a fellow Brandeisian.
Sandra strives to help people create order and action from confusion while leveraging the strength of past experiences.
Zach supports students in developing their personal and professional goals, but his passion is the Boston Bruins.
Megan works with everyone and anyone who’s thinking about the next steps, career transitions, or wondering how to get started.
Xiaoyi seeks to empower every student to turn their passions into a career, and her door is always open to hear about your latest food obsession or favorite Boston restaurant.
Business Coach (Graduate Assistant)
The Graduate Assistant Business Coach offers career support to undergraduate students with an interest in Business, Consulting, and Finance career paths. In one-on-one sessions, students may discuss career topics including: industry and career research, the internship/job search process, reviewing application material, interview preparation, and applying to graduate school. Select "Business Coach: 30-Minute Meeting" in Handshake when making a new appointment.
Stefan comes to Hiatt after working for companies like Deloitte and EY, alongside participating in the McKinsey Forward Program after graduating from the University of Ghana where he studied Business Administration, Banking and Finance. Stefan is now pursuing his Master's in Finance at the Brandeis International Business School where he is an active member of the Brandeis Global Markets Investment Club.
Student Career Staff (Hiatt Advisors)
Hiatt advisors (HAs) meet with current students for 20-minute HA Express Appointments. These brief meetings are more focused on quick questions and resume or cover letter reviews. HAs also assist with campus-wide Hiatt programming, promote career development events and serve as liaisons between students and Hiatt.
