Sharing this short video today that features a candid discussion among coworkers from The Cadmus Group sharing their experiences with mental health and disabilities in the workplace. It emphasizes the need for supportive environments where employees can be open about their disabilities and feel accepted. It's a powerful reminder of the importance of inclusivity and changing workplace attitudes. We’re proud of Lex Huth, a Carnegie Mellon University graduate, for sharing her story in this powerful video! If you want to learn more about workplace disclosure, connect with the Olitsky Career Readiness Program and email Amy Tavares, Program Manager: atavares@andrew.cmu.edu #CarnegieMellon #WorkplaceDiversity #WorkplaceDisclosure #MentalHeath #DisabilityAwareness
As the director of the newly released short film by WorkingNation, "Workplace Realities: Disclosing Physical and Mental Health Disabilities," I had the unique privilege of bringing to light the personal stories of Josh Christianson, Devin Boyle, and Lex Huth from The Cadmus Group. These stories delve into the complexities of disclosing non-evident disabilities in the workplace—a subject that resonates with me deeply. Growing up with an unseen disability shaped my perspective and approach to life. This personal connection fueled my passion for this project, emphasizing the importance of supportive and inclusive environments that empower everyone to be their authentic selves. This film is a call to action for all of us to foster workplaces where diversity is not just accepted but celebrated. Watch the film here (https://lnkd.in/gGDSFVir) , and join me in the conversation about making inclusivity a reality in every workplace. #FilmDirector #Inclusion #Diversity #WorkplaceWellness #MentalHealthAwareness #Leadership
